The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District (SPL) has an announcement regarding a new project consisting of: (Remedial Design) (Environmental Remediation) and (Remedial Action Construction) at the Iron King Mine–Humboldt Smelter (IKM-HS) Superfund Site at Dewey-Humboldt, AZ.
This project is in the range of:
Environmental Remediation: $5M-$100M, IDIQ. (Anticipated Award Date: 1st Qtr, FY26 with a five year-base period)
Remedial Action Construction: $5M-$249M, IDIQ (Anticipated Award Date: 2nd Qtr, FY27 with a five year-base period)
Remedial Design: $5M-$49M, IDIQ (Anticipated Award Date: 2nd Qtr, FY26 with a five year-base period)
SPL will provide a history of the site history/overview of the project, cleanup objectives, explanation of scope implementation, discuss the sources sought notices, and will be seeking input from interested parties, including small businesses, local/regional small businesses and small businesses owned by Native American Tribes, Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) and Native Hawaiian Owned firms (NHOs) to execute these projects. Government attendees on hand include: (EPA)(USACE, Los Angeles District)(SBA).
