Arizona APEX Accelerator is hosting a free, three-day, in-person seminar that will cover a wide range of crucial topics in government contracting.

Attendees are welcome to register for one or all three days based on the topics that will best benefit you and your business.

The event is in-person at GateWay Community College Central City Campus.

In-person attendance is highly recommended. We are tentatively coordinating a livestream of the event for virtual attendance as a secondary option.

Through segmented presentations, a variety of topics will be covered by Chris Bridgewater, a Procurement Specialist with Arizona APEX Accelerator.

SCHEDULE

  • Day 1 - 9:00am-3:30pm — Regulations and rules to know for government contracting

  • Day 2 - 9:00am-3:30pm — Proposal Management, Creating Price Proposals

  • Day 3 - 9:00am-12:00pm (Noon) — Marketing and advertising for government sales

There will be one-hour breaks for lunch. Since this is a free event, lunch is not provided.

ABOUT CHRIS BRIDGEWATER

With over 22 years of experience working within and alongside the federal government, Chris has gained a comprehensive understanding of both government contracting and federal agency operations, having served as both an employee and a contractor. As the core founder, CEO, and CFO of an engineering firm specializing in medical products for the U.S. Military, he successfully secured multiple government contracts, including Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) awards.

Chris brings extensive expertise in federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DCAA Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance, and CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification). In addition, he has a robust background in ISO audits, corporate financial management, internal auditing procedures, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A), along with human resources management.

Having led large teams of over 90 professionals on high-profile, global construction projects, Chris possesses a proven track record in project management and leadership. He has also consulted for a diverse range of industries, including construction (both horizontal and vertical trades), durable goods manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, agriculture, domestic and international transportation, IT, SaaS, training, education, advanced research and development, and machining.

With a versatile background and deep expertise across industries, Chris has a well-rounded perspective that drives innovation and success in every venture.
